Over 200 people attended Quantum’s Public Exhibition in November to view the final proposals for the redevelopment of Quantock House in Taunton’s town centre.
Quantock House, which was built in the late 1960s, and has been left unused for a number of years, was acquired by Quantum in 2015. It previously housed a number of government departments including DEFRA and the Valuation Office.
The exhibition showed plans to build a 62 bed en-suite care home, 58 extra care apartments and 11,465 sq. ft. of retail space.
Members of the public were able to view the feedback given at the July exhibition, see the final proposals, and show their level of support for the plans.
Full details of the proposals can be viewed here.
Quantum has submitted a planning application to Taunton Deane Borough Council.
