The brand new care home situated at Christchurch Hospital officially opened on 22nd December
Fairmile Grange care home opened its doors to welcome residents in time for Christmas. Its first four residents moved in on Friday 23rd December and were warmly greeted by Home Manager, Becky Robson, and her wonderful team of care professionals.
To mark the occasion, Fairmile Grange had small ‘red carpet’ event to welcome everyone and Jack Wright, the very first resident, was given the honour of cutting the ribbon.
The festivities and merriment over Christmas were fantastic; with games, music, and of course, traditional Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings!
Jack Wright, the first resident, was ecstatic when he found out that Fairmile Grange would open before the holidays,
“I was over the moon when I was told I could move in on 23rd December. It made my Christmas to know I would be getting companionship.”
Situated at the very centre of wellbeing, Fairmile Grange, the residential, nursing and dementia specialist care home, is located next to Grove Surgery and the new pharmacy at Christchurch Hospital.
Pop along for a cup of tea anytime and take a look around the brand new, modern care home. For any enquiries, please call Lucy Lester, Family Liaison Manager on 01202 007569 or click here to find out more.
