Quantum’s new 80-bed care home in Christchurch, Fairmile Grange, is really taking shape and looking magnificent with its roof now completed.
The joint venture between Quantum and The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation (RBCH) Trust has helped to secure additional NHS services on the Christchurch site, as well as providing 35 new retirement living apartments alongside a state-of-the-art new care home for the surrounding area.
Operating as part of Quantum’s newly-formed Encore Care group, Fairmile Grange Care Home will offer specialist residential, nursing and dementia care for its residents. It will also create up to 125 new jobs for the local community, with a wide range of care and nursing roles as well as catering, cleaning and support staff.
Quantum designs and builds its own care homes to ensure the architecture is not only outstanding but that it is also comfortable to both live and work in. The building is designed to fit the every need of its residents and staff, with large, beautiful arched windows and spacious, bright rooms. It will feature homely but spacious communal areas where residents and their families and even the wider community can enjoy a range of activities throughout the year.
With the roof now complete, Fairmile Grange’s showrooms are due to open to the public in July so that potential residents and the community can come and take a look around this state-of-the-art new care home. The development is scheduled to be fully complete and operational by October 2016.
